June 26 marks the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus!
Since its establishment and up to the present time, the prosecutor's office has gone through a glorious path of selfless service to the law and justice. Through its activities, the employees of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus ensure the unity and supremacy of the law, protect the rights and freedoms of individuals, and the interests of society. They combat crime and corruption, ensuring the inevitability of punishment for criminal acts. Today, true professionals of their craft work in the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk region, diligently and honestly fulfilling their duty.
At the solemn event held at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic on June 24, 2017, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, A.G. Poznyak, the First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, G.I. Grebnev, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, V.V. Terentyev, the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic of Belarus, G.I. Dycko, heads of law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and other state institutions and organizations, educational institutions, and enterprises participated.
The Deputy Attorney General of the Republic of Belarus, Gennady Iosifovich Dycko, congratulated all employees of the prosecutor's office and veterans on their professional holiday, wishing them happiness, well-being, and good health for many years, and presented state awards to prosecutor's office employees.
The medal "For Impeccable Service" of the II degree was awarded to the Deputy Prosecutor of the region, V.I. Guk, and the head of the department for combating corruption and organized crime, E.A. Lapkovsky; the medal "For Impeccable Service" of the III degree was awarded to the Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of Inquiry, Y.Y. Ambros, the Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the region for supervision of operational investigative activities, V.V. Rudenko, the Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, V.M. Vasilyev, the Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, A.M. Sashchko, the Prosecutor of the Braslav District, Y.S. Kezik, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Polotsk District, A.R. Kazakevich, and the Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Vitebsk District, A.G. Bagdasaryan.
The Attorney General of the Republic of Belarus, A.V. Konyuk, awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus" to the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region, V.V. Sushchinsky, the Orsha Transport Prosecutor, P.V. Dedyuro, and the Honorary Certificate of the Attorney General of the Republic of Belarus to the Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, N.V. Fedorenko, and a valuable gift to the Head of the Organizational and Control Department, I.N. Bogachev, and expressed gratitude to the Prosecutor of the Chashniki District, E.V. Babenko, and the Deputy Prosecutor of the Dubrovno District, A.A. Starchenko.
In his speech, the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region, Vadim Valentinovich Sushchinsky, thanked all employees of the prosecutor's office for their conscientious attitude towards the performance of their official duties and expressed special gratitude to the veterans of the prosecutor's office for their hard work, and their constant readiness to assist young employees in mastering the difficult prosecutor's craft.

Sidorovich; the Honorary Certificate of the KGB of the Republic of Belarus in the Vitebsk region was awarded to the Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the region for supervision of legislation on state security, V.N. Belous, and gratitude was expressed to the Head of the Department for Supervision of Legislation Enforcement in the Armed Forces, I.N. Korzhov.
