The "Summer Patrol" campaign took place in the Braslav region during the summer season.
From June to August, the annual 'Summer Patrol' campaign was conducted in Braslav District. The aim of the campaign is to prevent accidents on water and during the operation of water transport, to foster an understanding among people of the importance of their personal involvement in activities to ensure safety, and to enhance the culture of safety among all age groups, primarily among children and youth.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels, the Republican Public Organization 'Belarusian Republican Society for Water Rescue (OSVOD)', members of the BRSM, and youth law enforcement squads participated in this campaign.
During the campaign, more than 30 joint raids were conducted in the district by preventive entities, during which efforts were made to identify cases of minors swimming without adult supervision, to prevent fatalities in water bodies, and to participate in patrolling water bodies where swimming is prohibited.
