Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on the call for compulsory military service in March-May 2026
February 3, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree No. 67 on February 23, "On Dismissal to Reserve and Conscription for Mandatory Military Service and Reserve Service." This was reported by BELTA from the press service of the head of state.
The document provides for the conscription of male citizens of Belarus who will turn 18 years old by the day of conscription and who do not have the right to deferment, as well as citizens of conscription age who have lost the right to deferment for mandatory military service and reserve service in March-May 2026.
At the same time, the decree provides for the dismissal to reserve of military personnel who have completed their mandatory service terms.
