A significant amount of knowledge about safety was provided to high school students from urban schools, as well as from Vidzava Secondary School, as part of the second stage of the national campaign "Safety - in every home!".

With the help of an engaging presentation, the children learned about the main causes of fires, possible sources of ignition at home and at school, the usefulness, types, and procedures for using various primary fire extinguishing means. During the active game "Quiz 101", the students learned a lot about firefighting, evacuation nuances, artists and actors related to the rescue service, social advertising of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and much more. They also became acquainted with the autonomous fire alarm, simultaneously identifying almost all situations that could lead to a fire, observing how the device works and how to check its operability. The students also learned from rescuers about how and where to install it. Timely and useful information was provided about the dangers of winter water bodies, actions in case of falling through the ice, and during the rescue of a victim.

During the events, the most active participants received thematic prizes.
