2023 is approaching its final stretch. The streets of cities begin to shine with colorful garlands and multicolored lights – the New Year hustle and bustle is already in full swing! At this time, people usually want to be close to their loved ones, friends, and share impressions of the anticipation of the beloved holiday. Children await the New Year with special excitement – Christmas trees, gifts, and long-awaited winter holidays. However, there are also those children who spend this magical time not with their peers, but in the hospital. To lift their New Year spirits, the Braslav rescuers launched a New Year "descent" in the children's department of the district central hospital…

What a surprise it was for the kids when Grandfather Frost appeared not through the door, as expected, but entered through the window!

– Hello, children, here I am! – greeted the children the Grandfather Frost who entered through the window – the rescuer.

The rescuers prepared a lot of interesting activities for the kids. Together with Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden, the children solved a New Year quiz, recalled emergency service numbers, learned safety rules during winter holidays, and answered questions and riddles that hung on the New Year tree in the form of snowflakes.

The children also prepared for the meeting with the New Year heroes – by reciting a poem to Grandfather Frost, they received sweet gifts and souvenirs from the guests.
