Braslav. The safety of people is the focus of the rescuers.

As part of the campaign "For Safety Together", employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations are conducting extensive preventive work among the population of the district.

The first frosts are approaching, and therefore the work of preventive entities has become even more active. Inspecting housing, assessing whether it meets fire safety requirements, advising on what needs to be corrected or repaired to avoid fires – this is the task of the inspectors. Every resident is literally in the spotlight. While visiting the households of citizens, rescuers also emphasized the condition of the heating systems and the presence of fire extinguishers in residential premises. They did not overlook the harmful habits of citizens either.

– Since the beginning of the year, 5 people have died in our district, and in all cases, the cause of the tragedy is considered to be an unextinguished cigarette, – note the rescuers while visiting each household.

Additionally, the department's employees conduct preventive work among the labor collectives of enterprises in the district. During their presentations, the rescue service employees inform those present about the operational situation with fires in the district and region, explaining the main causes of fire emergencies and fatalities resulting from them.
