The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs A fire is always frightening. Those who have experienced it divide their lives into before and after. It is a great relief if there are no casualties, but it can be otherwise. What should be done to prevent a fire or at least minimize its consequences?     

Answers to these questions are provided by rescuers during meetings with the community. This week, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations met with residents of the village of Yelno in the Mezhan district near the auto shop. Great attention was paid to heating, gas, and electrical equipment, the availability and functionality of autonomous fire alarms, knowledge of emergency service phone numbers, and immediate actions in case of a fire. Everything is interconnected and depends on the overall culture of the residents, their attitude towards everyday life and their own lives. All attendees also received comprehensive information on the rules for building fires, the dangers of winter water bodies, and improvised firefighting means. Recommendations were also provided, and handouts on heating equipment and maintaining order in the yard were distributed.
