Braslav. Large-scale prevention and launch of the campaign

In order to prevent fires and loss of life due to them in the housing stock, a preventive campaign was held in the Braslav district from June 17 to June 21.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited the homes of categorized citizens living in the territory of the Vidzovsky rural council. They held discussions with residents explaining the requirements of fire safety regulations, outlined the main causes of fires, and reminded them of the rules for operating stoves, heating appliances, electrical devices, the risks of smoking in the home, and the rules for safely lighting bonfires. An important reminder for many citizens was the necessity to periodically check the operability of autonomous fire alarms.

Additionally, as part of the campaign, rescuers held a village meeting, organized a preventive event on the basics of life safety called "School of Safety" for children from the local school camp, and created a "Safety Post" for visitors to the "Kopeechka" store.
