Braslav. My safe home - I will live in it for a long time.
Under this slogan, meetings were held between the employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations and high school students from the district schools, as well as with students of the Vidzov State Vocational Technical College, as part of the second stage of the republican campaign "Safety in Every Home".
The meetings took place at different times and in various locations, but one thing remained unchanged - the agenda focused on how to protect oneself and one’s home from various fire hazards.
High school students and college students, together with the agency's employees, solved the "Secret of Safety" and also practiced their logical thinking in the quiz "Where is the Logic". Rescuers discussed the importance of being careful and attentive with electrical appliances in the home, reminding that what may seem like a harmless charger left in the socket can become the cause of a fire.
In addition to the employees of the Braslav Department of Emergency Situations, the head of the energy and gas supervision inspection, Sergey Shakur, also gave lectures, reminding the students of the importance of following energy safety rules.
As high school students will soon become applicants, the first deputy head of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations, Vladimir Opechenok, informed the future students about the advantages of enrolling in the University of Civil Protection, conducting a career guidance discussion with them.
At the end of each meeting, rescuers distributed visual materials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the students and reminded them once again that the knowledge they gained during the meeting would definitely be useful in their adult lives!
