The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs The republican campaign "Safety Day. Attention to all!" is gathering more participants. Today, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations met with rural residents.

According to statistics, most fires occur in rural areas, which means that refreshing knowledge about safety is always timely here. The causes of tragedies are similar and entirely depend on the individual.

It is essential to know and follow safety rules throughout life and not to relax. Rescuers assessed all the fires that occurred in the region, identified their causes, reminded about the importance of autonomous fire alarms, typical violations in the installation and operation of heating equipment, actions to take in case of fire, emergency service phone numbers, and the procedure for calling them. They also discussed the mobile application "Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus. Help nearby!", revealing the secret and formula of safety in a playful manner. They warned villagers against burning dry vegetation and reminded them of the rules for burning waste. They addressed typical violations in the use of household appliances and potentially dangerous places in the home.
