This is especially true now, as summer cottage owners begin to tidy up after winter.

Today, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with the editorial staff of the district newspaper "Braslavskaya Zvezda", visited the gardening partnership "Khomkovshchina". There are still few summer cottage owners present, and those who are there are diligently preparing the territory and summer houses for the upcoming season. The weather has been windy, and likely for this reason, no one dares to light bonfires. Nevertheless, the traces of recently burned last year's grass indicate the presence of risk-takers in the partnership. The development is quite dense, and a small fire could pose a significant threat to everyone. Therefore, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded the rules for lighting bonfires for burning waste, warned against burning vegetation at the root, provided the emergency service phone numbers and the procedure for calling them, and offered recommendations for using heating, gas, and electrical equipment after winter conservation.
