Braslav. On the safety of children and adults

Last weekend, the Braslav region celebrated the 55th anniversary of the Zarnitsa festival. This international holiday of traditional culture unfolded its activities at various locations. At one of them, in the Lesnichovka park, guests were welcomed by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The thematic platforms of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the gas service were located next to each other. Everyone concerned about safety definitely stopped by. Life-sized figures helped introduce the basics of gas and fire safety, as well as students from the specialized class of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from the second city school. Over the course of two days, festival guests learned how to behave in case of a fire, guided by the "Five Steps to Safety," determined what can be used to extinguish various types of fires at home, got acquainted with the heroes of the Ministry of Emergency Situations animated series "The Magic Book," learned a lot about the campaign "Life is not a movie," and happily took photos at the thematic photo zone. They also solved puzzles, participated in quizzes, tackled logical riddles, memorized emergency service phone numbers, tried on firefighting gear, and got acquainted with a fire truck. The rescuers placed a strong emphasis on child safety, urging adults not to leave children unattended and to ensure their safe living conditions.

It is no coincidence that during the summer holidays, the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducts a nationwide campaign "Holidays Without Smoke and Fire!" Summer is not only a time for relaxation but also a time of great responsibility. During this period, child injuries increase, and rescuers took the opportunity to personally communicate with adults and children ahead of the holidays.
