Despite the preventive work being carried out with the population, fires do occur. In agricultural enterprises, it is a critical time. Feed harvesting is underway, and the harvest season is just around the corner.

This week, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited several agricultural enterprises in the region. They focused on the operational condition of equipment, the availability of primary fire extinguishing means, and the staff's knowledge of actions in case of a fire. Unfortunately, agricultural machinery also catches fire. The reasons vary, but the actions to extinguish it must be quick and correct. The representatives of the Ministry reminded about the main causes of fires, typical locations where they occur, and how to use a fire extinguisher.

Often, fires are caused by simple human indifference to their own safety, a decrease in responsibility, and sometimes neglect of established rules. Raising awareness about the dangers of fires, the irreversibility of their consequences, and sometimes even loss of life is the goal of past and future meetings.
