Braslav. With care for pensioners

As part of the republican campaign "Caring for the Safety of the Small Homeland!" employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations visited the Braslav Territorial Center for Social Services.

At the beginning of the meeting, the current situation regarding fires in the district and region was communicated to all attendees, and examples of fires that occurred in the area were provided. Then, with the help of the quiz "WHAT? WHERE? WHEN?" rescuers explained how to make the warmth of one's home safe, how to properly use electrical appliances, and together they analyzed mistakes in the operation of heating stoves. The rescuers also reminded everyone about the actions to take in case of a fire and the emergency service contact numbers, discussing the main violations of fire safety rules that are encountered in apartments.

Furthermore, the employees of the district emergency department emphasized the prevention of fires in ecosystems. Addressing this issue, the rescuers conveyed to everyone the basic rules of behavior in the forest and the procedures to follow when discovering a fire.

Particular attention was given by the rescuers to the presence of an autonomous fire alarm in the house, reminding all attendees that it should be installed in every living room, and they also explained how to maintain the fire alarm to ensure it reliably protects the homeowner's peace for a long time.
