Braslav. Caring for pensioners on the eve of the New Year!

Emergency Situations Ministry informs The long-awaited and beloved holiday – New Year – is approaching! A time when each of us, regardless of age, begins to believe in miracles and magic again. Therefore, as part of the first stage of the republican campaign "Safe New Year", together with the first secretary of the "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" and activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters, we visited a lonely resident of our district to provide assistance and congratulate her on the upcoming holidays.

For the resident of the village of Yanuli, Glabovskaya Stepania Mikhailovna, our team's visit was a real surprise! The grandmother was very happy to see us and warmly invited everyone into her home. During the conversation, the agency staff inquired about the health of the hostess and asked if she needed our help.

The members of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters got to work! They cleared the snow in the yard, brought firewood into the house, and fetched water from the well. There were also some pleasant surprises.

Thus, from the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, Stepania Mikhailovna received a nice gift, and the employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations brought the main attribute of the upcoming holiday – a New Year tree with decorations, which the hostess set up together with the team!
