Braslav. Signal "Attention everyone!" for rural residents

As part of the second stage of the republican campaign 'Safety Day. Attention everyone!', employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations met with residents of the Opsa and Akhremov rural councils and discussed the basics of life safety.

Other preventive entities also participated in the event, represented by employees of the district prosecutor's office, local authorities, and the Braslav District Internal Affairs Department.

In addition to educating the public on actions to take when the 'Attention everyone!' signal is activated, all citizens present at the event were informed about the fire situation in the district and region, after which the rescuers focused on the causes that may lead to an emergency situation.

Thus, speaking before the residents of the agrotown Opsa, the rescuers paid special attention to the careless handling of fire while smoking, as it was in this locality that a fire occurred resulting in fatalities, caused by an unextinguished cigarette.

The rescuers also reminded all guests of the event about the dangers of going onto spring ice, providing statistics on fatalities in the region, and warned against the burning of dry vegetation.
