Braslav. Rescuers on the harmful habit among students

Ministry of Emergency Situations informs The second stage of the republican campaign "Don't waste your life" continues, and this time the employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations visited the students of the Vidzov State Vocational Technical College.

Speaking to the teenagers, the rescuers explained what could happen if safety rules regarding smoking are neglected, and what consequences an unextinguished cigarette or a carelessly discarded butt could cause. After listening attentively and drawing the right conclusions, the college students began to exchange cigarettes for candies and also took a "solemn oath of the anti-smoking fighter." After that, the interactive part of the meeting began.

The students, divided into two teams, "Falcons" and "Hawks," enthusiastically participated in the game "Quiz 101." During the interesting and engaging competition, the "Hawks" won the game, for which they received a sweet prize from the rescuers.

All attendees at the event also received brochures about the dangers of smoking and learned previously unknown facts about this harmful habit. But most importantly, everyone drew the conclusion for themselves: is it worth wasting your life?
