Braslav. Meeting in the Name of Security

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs As is known, prevention can be general and individual. The first option applies to the population as a whole, but what should be done if someone systematically neglects the norms and established rules, including fire safety regulations? 

The next meeting of the public order protection council took place at the Slobodkovsky village executive committee. The main agenda item was individual preventive work with individuals abusing alcohol, committing domestic offenses, being on preventive registration, and ignoring the requirements for heating and electrical equipment. Alongside representatives of the district administration and police, representatives of the Braslav District Department for Emergencies participated in the council's work. They reminded that neglecting safety rules is unacceptable. It is already the middle of winter, so special attention should be paid to heating equipment, avoiding overheating of stoves and leaving them unattended.

They also emphasized the importance of installing autonomous fire alarms in residential premises.

They outlined typical violations of fire safety committed by homeowners, as well as priority actions in case of a fire. They reminded the emergency service phone numbers, discussed the dangers of winter water bodies, and showed through a film what can happen if a cigarette is not extinguished.
