POLICY
on Cookie Processing by the Braslav District
Executive Committee

1. The issuance of the Policy on Cookie Processing by the Braslav District
Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") constitutes
one of the mandatory measures adopted by the Braslav District Executive
Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "District Executive Committee")
to ensure the protection of personal data, as stipulated by Article 17 of the
Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 99-Z dated May 7, 2021, "On Personal
Data Protection" (hereinafter referred to as the "Law").
This Policy explains to users of the information resource
https://braslav.vitebsk-region.gov.by/ (hereinafter referred to as the
"Website"), owned by the District Executive Committee, how, for what
purposes, and on what legal grounds their personal data are collected,
used, or otherwise processed.
The provisions of the Policy apply only to the official website of the
District Executive Committee. The District Executive Committee does not
control and bears no responsibility for third-party websites that a user
may access via links available on the official website of the District
Executive Committee.
2. For the purposes of this Policy, "cookies" are understood as text files
saved in the web browser of a user's device (computer, mobile phone,
etc.) when visiting websites in order to reflect and/or remember user
actions. They serve various purposes, such as remembering user
settings. Cookies may contain various data, such as user preferences,
website browsing history, and other information. In addition, they may be used to collect statistical data on user interaction with the District Executive Committee’s official website and to improve its functionality.
3. The purpose of cookie processing is to store user information that can be used to enhance the user's experience when interacting with the District Executive Committee’s official website.

The District Executive Committee’s official website does not use cookies to identify users.
4. Other terms used in this Policy have the meanings defined by the Law.
5. Only cookies necessary for the following purposes are processed on the website:
proper functioning of the website;
use of accessibility features for users with disabilities.
6. The following types of cookies are used for the operation of the District Executive Committee’s official website:

functional – necessary for the proper operation of the site;

7. Some cookies are stored for the duration of the current session and are deleted after the browser is closed. The retention period for other cookies is limited to one year from the date of the first visit to the site.
8. By using third-party cookies, the District Executive Committee’s official website may transmit aggregated data—unrelated to the identification of any specific user—to the following third parties:

9. Users may accept or reject performance cookies processed on the District Executive Committee’s official website that are intended for the operation of the web analytics platform. Functional cookies can be disabled via the settings on the District Executive Committee’s official website. Disabling functional cookies may require users to re-select their cookie preferences—such as the language version of the District Executive Committee’s official website. Disabling performance cookies prevents the identification of user preferences on the District Executive Committee’s official website—including the most and least popular pages—and

prevents the implementation of improvements to the District Executive Committee’s official website based on user preferences.
