The first stage of the republican campaign "Do Not Leave Children Alone" has been launched.

The first stage of the republican campaign 'Do not leave children alone' has been launched in the Braslav district, timed to the International Day of Families and the International Day for the Protection of Children. To draw parents' attention to the issues of child safety, employees of the Braslav District Department of Emergency Situations held a large-scale event at the recreation area 'Brukovanka' in the city of Braslav.

Visitors to the recreation area were invited by rescuers to visit the safety park 'MES – LAND', where everyone could familiarize themselves with the firefighters' equipment and firefighting vehicles, as well as gain valuable knowledge on safety issues. A quiz titled 'Emergency Services Numbers' was organized for children, where participants could learn the phone numbers of all emergency services in the Republic of Belarus, as well as how to act correctly if they find themselves in trouble. Young Braslav residents could also test their safety knowledge with the board game 'I Won't Get into Trouble', 'Tic-Tac-Toe', and also create an algorithm '5 Steps to Rescue'.

For the bravest and strongest, Braslav rescuers organized a 'smoke chamber' with theatrical smoke based on an inflatable module, where children and their parents, naturally in full gear, had to find two cones in the smoke, thereby learning to navigate in a smoke-filled room and feeling like real rescuers.

Of course, no one left without gifts. Parents received brochures reminding them of child safety, while children left the safety park in great spirits and with beautiful coloring books!
