Convey to everyone

Last week, employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations conducted a series of preventive measures for the residents and guests of our district, reminding everyone about safety rules during the summer period.

As part of the republican campaign "Holidays without Smoke and Fire", rescuers, together with the first secretary of the district organization of the "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" and a representative of the education department, visited tent camps organized for students of district schools during the vacation period. Specialists visited four such camps, where they conducted preventive classes not only with children but also with teachers, informing them about the basics of safety. In each institution, the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees held sports relays with the children, after which each participant received a brochure with visual materials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The rescuers also did not overlook rural residents, organizing "safety posts" along the routes of mobile shops. Department employees, while talking to store customers, emphasized heating appliances, reminding them that during the summer, citizens do not use stoves and that now is the best time to put them in order. Rescuers also recommended installing smoke detectors in every living room and keeping them in working condition.

Great attention was paid to those resting by water bodies. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted a series of raids both in places designated for swimming and in areas for lovers of "wild" recreation. Rescuers reminded all vacationers of the rules of conduct at the water body, citing sad statistics, and strongly advised families vacationing with children not to leave them unattended near the water.
