Unified Safety Day in Braslaŭ Region

Today, a Unified Safety Day took place in the Braslav District. Rescuers, together with representatives of the gas service, OSVOD, police, and border service, organized areas for teaching the basics of life safety. Interactive and entertainment areas were also organized.

Learning safety rules is a responsible but essential process. It is even better when both children and adults participate together. Furthermore, it is beneficial when individuals subconsciously adopt safe behaviors.

The organized concert program and the gathering of young rescuers-firefighters initiated a vibrant atmosphere at the venues. All attendees were able to participate in an energetic flash mob, games, contests, and relays, and try on the gear of a firefighter-rescuer. Everything seen and heard will remain in the memory of the event participants for a long time. The representatives of the clubs of young rescuers-firefighters from the district evoked a storm of emotions. They skillfully handled firefighting equipment, donned protective clothing, laid hose lines, and extinguished a simulated fire. Children and adults eagerly familiarized themselves with the nuances of border and police service, delved into gas safety, learned to provide first aid, and even conducted resuscitation activities. They also took photos for memories and received safety brochures from emergency service representatives.
