Fake document

According to the verdict of the Braslav District Court, a citizen of the Russian Federation, who had been wanted for a long time, was convicted under part 1 of Article 380 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

During a check conducted in 2015, it was established that the citizen of the Russian Federation was driving a vehicle with forged documents (driver's licenses). He was subsequently exposed for the crime committed, and a criminal case was initiated under part 1 of Article 380 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus – use of a knowingly forged document. At the same time, the accused evaded the preliminary investigation authorities and was on the international wanted list for 4 years.

However, through the measures taken, the criminal was held accountable for the committed act and was assigned an appropriate punishment. The Braslav District Court found the man guilty of committing the crime provided for in part 1 of Article 380, and imposed a penalty in the form of a fine of 100 basic units amounting to 2550 rubles.
