The main tasks of cultural institutions are to organize cultural and leisure activities for the population, and to preserve and develop the folk traditions of Braslav region.

Every year, the club system staff conducts more than 3000 events. The most popular are: the International Holiday of Traditional Culture "Braslav's Lightning", folk festivities "Maslenitsa", "Kupalle", village holidays, the holiday "Fish Soup Day" in Slobodka, the festival "Druya in the Heart" in Druya, the guest event "Our Home Invites to the Holiday" in Distant, the holiday "Peter and Paul" in Drisvyaty, the "Sunny Summer Festival" in Opsa, the show program "Super Kid" in Vidzy, the "Bialmontski Fest" in Akhremovtsy, the "Holiday of the Mezhansky Potato" in Mezhany, the oak holiday "Live Kazansiya Oaks" in Kozyany, and others.

To organize interesting events in the branches of the club system, there are about 100 club formations in vocal, theatrical, choreographic, and instrumental genres, as well as workshops in decorative and applied arts and interest clubs.

The leading collectives of Braslav District include: the folk ensemble of Belarusian song "Syabryna" (Akhramovsky CTC), the folk ensemble of folk song "Vidzovchanka", the folk theatrical collective "Masks", the exemplary studio of pop song "Fortuna", the dance collective "Smile" (Vidzovsky GDK), the folk studio of poetic creativity "Sail of Hope" (Opsa DLC), the folk folklore collective "Vyarba" (Drisvyatsky SDC), the vocal ensemble "Tayamnitsa" (Druyevsky PDC), the folk song ensemble "Karagod" (Slobodkovsky EC), and the vocal group "Colorit" (Pogoshchansky SDC).
