Igor Sergeenko assessed the progress of preparations of individual farms in the Braslav district for the sowing campaign.

During his working visit to Braslavshchyna, just before the meeting of the district executive committee, Igor Sergeenko assessed the progress of preparation of individual farms for the sowing campaign on-site.

The parliamentarian visited two agricultural enterprises — KUSP "Braslavski" and OAO "Slobodka-Agro". He spoke with the managers and machinists, inquired about the mood of the agrarians at the start of the spring field work, and visited the machine yards, where he familiarized himself with the new equipment and the condition of the repaired machinery.

"In the Vitebsk region, including Braslavshchyna, we have practically begun sowing spring crops. We selectively looked at how the preparation of equipment is organized in the farms. I would like to note that the mood in the teams is productive; the villagers say they have already missed working in the field. In turn, energy-intensive tractors, soil cultivation, and sowing units are ready by 95 – 98%. There is still some snow in places, but overall the soil is drying out, and we can start on a larger scale," commented Igor Sergeenko to journalists on the results of the monitoring.

Additional stops on the route included the construction site of the future physical culture and health complex in Braslav and one of the local stores.
