A resident of the Braslaŭ district has been convicted of committing a serious crime as stipulated in part 2 of article 295 of the Criminal Code.

Service in the army not only toughens and educates men but also introduces them to weapons that young soldiers are not averse to taking home.

Thus, while serving in the army, a young man intentionally and illegally acquired and transferred explosive devices to a hidden place by appropriating them found at a training ground in the city of Barysaw, and then transported and stored them at his residence for 6 years in the Braslaŭ district.

During the court session, the young man could not explain why he needed the explosive devices, citing curiosity and youthful foolishness.

The young man's engagement with ammunition resulted in criminal liability and actual punishment. The court of the Braslaŭ district found the man guilty of committing the crime stipulated in part 2 of article 295 and imposed a penalty in the form of corrective labor. The court's verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
