Collectives with the title "Exemplary", "Folk"

Folk Folklore Collective "Vyarba" of the "Drisvyatsky Rural House of Culture" has existed since 1989, receiving the title of "folk" in 1998. The leader is Tereza Vladislavovna Glambotskaya. The repertoire includes Belarusian and Polish folk songs, dances, games, rituals, theatrical legends and traditions, and performances. The repertoire is mainly based on local folklore material. "Vyarba" actively engages in concert activities and participates in international, republican, and regional festivals and competitions: the International Holiday of Traditional Culture "Braslav's Lightning", the International Arts Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk", the regional holiday of national cultures, Belarusian cuisine, and the game "We are united by the land of Belarus" and others.

As a result, numerous diplomas and acknowledgments, and at the regional holiday-competition of wedding rituals of Vitebsk region "Great Wedding", at the regional holiday of national cultures, Belarusian cuisine, and the game "We are united by the land of Belarus", at the regional folklore forum – 3 diplomas of the 3rd degree.

No less significant for the collective are video recordings for the program "Forward to the Past" for the TV channel "Belarus 3".

Poetry Creativity Studio "Sail of Hope"

Opsa Cultural and Literary Center was established in 1997. In 2002, the association was awarded the title of "folk". Since its inception, "Sail of Hope" has been working in the genres of poetry and prose. Great attention is paid to the development of the creative skills of its participants.

Participants of "Sail" are talented and active people of different ages and professions, who are always interested in being together. Members of the folk association maintain connections with the "Uzdym" society from the city of Daugavpils, Latvia, well-known writers, interact with the international information musical poetic radio "Ocean Plus", and with the administration of the international internet community "Word Moves Breath Lives".
Every quarter, pages of "Blue Spill" are published in the district newspaper "Braslavskaya Zvyazda", where Braslav residents can get acquainted with new works by poets, as well as young, emerging authors. During its operation, the association has published four almanacs "Sail of Hope" and more than thirty author collections. More than 30 songs have been written to the poems of Tereza Krumplevskaya.

Unforgettable for the participants of "Sail of Hope" were performances on the stages of the cities: Glubokoe, Postavy, Lyozno at the regional festival "Songs of the Berry Marshes". Braslav poets are active participants in Russian publishing projects "Silver Words".

Exemplary Estrada Song Studio "Fortuna"

The Exemplary Estrada Song Studio "Fortuna" was established in 2002, led by Anna Vladimirovna Pavinič. The collective consists of children, teenagers, and youth aged 7 to 23. The repertoire of the Estrada Song Studio "Fortuna" includes children's, patriotic, estrada songs, as well as folk songs in modern arrangements. Participants of the collective learn not only singing but also dancing, stage movement, and acting skills. The studio leader provides participants with theoretical knowledge about the functioning of the vocal apparatus, prevention, and protection of the voice.
The repertoire is selected for each participant of the studio taking into account individual characteristics. Long-term work is carried out on the development and improvement of vocal technique and acting skills with a creative approach to revealing the artistic image. Soloists of the exemplary Estrada Song Studio "Fortuna" also participate in district, regional, and international holidays and competitions.

Soloists of the studio "Fortuna" are constant participants in many district events. Not a single event on the stage of the Vidzov House of Culture goes without the participation of the studio.

Participants of the exemplary Estrada Song Studio "Fortuna" stand out for their great creative abilities and high spiritual potential, performing initiative, and striving for professionalism.

Folk Song Ensemble "Vidzovchanka"

The folk song ensemble "Vidzovchanka" began its creative activity in 1996. The artistic director during its existence has been Alexander Timofeevich Pavinič. The age of the participants ranges from 24 to 57 years. The genre specificity of the ensemble "Vidzovchanka" is the synthesis of several directions in musical art: ensemble singing, choreography, acting, and instrumental music. These directions are organically and closely related to each other. The folk ensemble "Vidzovchanka" successfully promotes folk songs and national traditions, making them a discovery for a large circle of people. The arrangements of songs, diverse in their genre characteristics, form the basis of the repertoire of the folk song ensemble "Vidzovchanka".

All arrangements are made by the leader of the collective Alexander Timofeevich Pavinič. As the leader of the collective, Alexander Timofeevich selects musical works specifically for the composition of his ensemble according to the vocal characteristics of the participants. He knows the techniques of folk choral arrangement, taking into account the range and tessitura data of the collective.

The collective participates in numerous concerts of artistic self-activity dedicated to Victory Day, Mother's Day, Independence Day, and other mass events held on the stage of the Vidzov House of Culture. It gives independent concerts.

Participants of the ensemble constantly improve their vocal, choreographic, and acting skills, which positively affects the creative growth of the collective. The collective confirmed the title of folk in 2019.

Folk Theater "Masks"

The theater collective "Masks" has existed in the Vidzov Rural House of Culture since 2003.

Currently, 15 participants aged 14 to 52 are engaged in the theater collective "Masks". These are people of various professions, but they are all united by a love for theatrical creativity. The main task of the theater collective "Masks" is to form and develop interest in theatrical art and the culture of the Belarusian people, to raise the general cultural and intellectual level, and to develop the creative abilities of youth. Now, most of the actors in the collective are creative youth from the village. Great attention is paid to educational activities in the collective: etude work, acting skills, and stage speech, basics of choreography and stage movement - all of this is studied by amateur artists.

The theater collective "Masks" is the organizer and participant of many creative events of the Vidzov Rural House of Culture: village holidays, rituals, theatrical performances, concert and competition programs, family leisure days, themed parties, and more.

The leader of the collective carefully selects material, taking into account the temperament and taste of the participants. There is ongoing work on searching for images and restoring material.

Folk Game Theater "Leli"

District Culture Center was created in 1991 and, thanks to its active creative work, received the honorary title of "folk" in 1997. The melodic name "Leli" appeared in honor of the Belarusian goddess of spring and love, as the main composition of the collective consists of girls and women.

Every year, the collective participates in district cultural and mass events: Kupalle, autumn fair, numerous "Fireflies" and festive entertainment programs. "Leli" is a welcome guest at tourist sites and in remote corners of Braslavshchyna.

The Folk Game Theater "Leli" participated in the International Holiday "Maslenitsa" in the city of Rezekne (Latvia), the regional holiday of national cultures, Belarusian cuisine, and the game "We are united by the land of Belarus", the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki", and the regional competition of game programs within the framework of the International Arts Festival "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk". The collective has a wealth of acknowledgments and diplomas: Grand Prix, I, II, and III degrees, "For the popularization of Belarusian folk games" and others.

Folk Theater

The collective was founded in 1944 in Braslav as a theatrical circle, and in 1959 it was awarded the title of "folk amateur collective". The collective consists of 15 people. The average age of the collective is 25-30 years. Among the participants are workers of communications, bread factory, education, private entrepreneurs, and others.

The repertoire of the folk theater is wide and diverse, including the best plays by Belarusian and Russian authors, of which there are more than 30. In the last three years, the repertoire has been supplemented with new performances, such as: "Everything for Lovers" by V. Tkachev, "The Secrets of the Park Come Alive" by Y. Nabeiev, and the play "A Luxurious Wedding" by R. Khoudan. The collective has repeatedly become a diploma winner of various competitions and festivals. The Folk Theater of the District Culture Center promotes modern Belarusian culture.

Such a creative fellowship of people, who are in the process of searching for new colors, new interpretations, guarantees a long life for theatrical art, strengthens and develops national traditions.

Folk Choir of War and Labor Veterans

The folk choir of veterans is a regular participant in concerts dedicated to significant dates in the Republic of Belarus. The choir consists of 15 people. Participants are elderly people: former medical workers, teachers.

A women's vocal group "Veselukhi", soloists, and duets have been created within the choir. Despite the fact that the choir is mainly composed of elderly people, the collective is very much in demand in Braslav and throughout the district. The choir is a welcome guest at all events in Braslav and the Braslav district. In addition, in special numbers, songs are combined with dance elements.

The concert program of the collective consists of Belarusian, Russian, Polish, and Ukrainian songs; from Belarusian poems by local poets. The Braslav District Executive Committee awarded a Certificate of Honor for organizing concert activities and for participating in the competitive program for the Day of the Elderly. The veterans' choir was awarded by the chairman of the district council of veterans.

Every year, the veterans' choir actively participates in the Regional Festival of Folk Creativity of Veteran Collectives "Veterans Do Not Age in Soul" and takes prize places.

The collective is a welcome guest at the Braslav boarding house for the elderly and disabled.

Folk Song Ensemble "Na Panadvorku"

The ensemble consists of 15 people. Among the participants are cultural, medical, and educational workers, individual entrepreneurs, and others.

The repertoire of the ensemble includes songs not only by Belarusian composers but also songs by local amateur authors. A women's vocal group, instrumental groups, duets, and soloists have been created within the ensemble.

The Folk Song Ensemble "Na Panadvorku" actively engages in concert activities. Many creative works and touring activities have been conducted, showcasing their creativity at various district-level events, regional, republican, and international holidays, and song creativity competitions. Its characteristic features include the preservation and development of Belarusian traditions, cultural and spiritual heritage, strengthening international ties, and high performance skills.

Over the years of existence and active creative activity, the ensemble has gained special attention from the audience and has become well-known not only in the district and region but also beyond its borders. The collective is an indispensable participant in district, regional, republican, and international holidays and festivals, festive concerts.

Exemplary Dance Collective "Takt"

The choreographic collective "Takt" was created in 2001. It received the title of "exemplary amateur collective" in 2007. And this title is successfully confirmed year after year due to the enthusiasm, patience, and work ethic of the participants, as well as the professionalism of the leader, who never stops at what has been achieved and is always in creative search. The collective consists of 30 people. Participants are students of educational institutions in the city of Braslav. The repertoire of the collective includes Belarusian dances, dances of the peoples of the world, stylized and modern dances.

Over the years of existence and active creative activity, the collective has gained special respect from the audience and has become well-known not only in the city of Braslav but also beyond its borders.

The collective is a constant participant in events held in the city and district.

Almost every cultural and mass event in the district is adorned with cheerful, lively, and bright numbers from the repertoire of the exemplary collective "Takt". The reward for their efforts is the enthusiastic applause of the audience, as this inspires them to reach new heights. The exemplary choreographic collective "Takt" strives for a higher level of dance mastery.

Folk Ensemble of Belarusian Song "Syabryna"

The Folk Ensemble of Belarusian Song "Syabryna" was established in 1992.

The group "Syabryna" consists of 15 participants: secondary school teachers, trade workers, TBZ employees, and CNK workers.

The basis of the repertoire consists of Belarusian folk songs and songs by Belarusian composers. The repertoire includes a block of Russian folk songs and a block of Polish folk songs performed by a mixed group, a women's group, a trio, a duet, and soloists. Recently, the group "Syabryna" has been working closely with local composer Albert Belus. The songs of the group are performed in 2, 3, and 4-part harmony. Great attention is paid to choreography and directing performances. The collective is mobile, agile, and ready to perform on both large stages of cultural palaces and small stages of rural clubs and open areas.

Folk Miniature Theater "Poker"

The miniature theater was created in 2006. In 2012, the collective was awarded the honorary title of "folk amateur collective", and in 2018, the collective successfully confirmed the title of "folk".

The theater collective consists of 15 people. Among the participants are employees of the district internal affairs department, medical workers, private entrepreneurs, employees of the State Institution "National Park "Braslav Lakes" and others.

The author and director of the miniatures is Yevgeny Nabeiev.

The miniature theater works in the genre of synchrobuffonade. Great attention is paid to plastic and dance solutions. The main goal is to engage young people from different professions in the popularization of healthy humor.

The theater "Figures on Stilts" enjoys great popularity.

The collective is also known abroad. The collective has performed on the stages of neighboring countries, Lithuania and Latvia, multiple times.

Over the years of its activity, the miniature theater "Poker" has gained recognition among the audience and has become well-known, enjoying great love and demand not only among Braslav residents. Each of its performances is a small bright show.
