Licensing of Educational Activities

According to Article 212 of the Law of October 14, 2022 No. 213-Z "On Licensing" (hereinafter referred to as the Law "On Licensing"), licensing of educational activities is carried out by the Ministry of Education, the Minsk City Executive Committee, and the city (of regional subordination) and district executive committees.

According to the Law "On Licensing", the Braslav District Executive Committee carries out licensing of services that constitute the licensed type of activity specified in subparagraphs 2.6.-2.13. of paragraph 2 of Article 213 of this Law.

The licensed type of activity includes the following component services:

  • 2.6. implementation of the educational program for preschool education;
  • 2.7. implementation of the educational program for primary education;
  • 2.8. implementation of the educational program for basic education;
  • 2.9. implementation of the educational program for secondary education;
  • 2.10. implementation of the educational program for special education at the preschool level;
  • 2.11. implementation of the educational program for special education at the general secondary education level;
  • 2.12. implementation of the educational program for special education at the preschool level for persons with intellectual disabilities;
  • 2.13. implementation of the educational program for special education at the general secondary education level for persons with intellectual disabilities.

In accordance with Article 214 of the Law "On Licensing", the Education Department of the Braslav District Executive Committee:

  • prepares materials for decision-making on licensing issues;
  • notifies the license applicant and licensee of the decisions made by the licensing authority regarding them;
  • conducts an assessment of the compliance of the license applicant's capabilities with the licensing requirements, and the licensee with the licensing requirements;
  • ensures the formation of the ERL in terms of the licensed type of activity.
