Chairman's Greeting

Greeting

Words to Readers

There is a place on the map of Belarus where the earth meets the sky in an endless dance of water and wind. The Braslav region... These words sound like a quiet melody sung by the pines on the hills.

God has generously rewarded this wonderful place with beautiful natural landscapes – hills, forest thickets, and the blueness of lakes. Nature delights both the eyes and the soul…

This land remembers the voices of the Krivichs and the Dnieper-Dvina tribes. The Castle Hill on Lake Drivyaty keeps legends of princes and warriors. And how many poets and artists have found inspiration here!

In summer, it smells of heated pines, algae, and strawberries. In autumn, the forests burn with crimson, reflecting in the black water. In winter, white silence descends upon the hills, and only the ski tracks disturb this perfect peace. And in spring... In spring, life itself awakens here.

The Braslav region is not just a place on the map. It is a state of the soul. Here, you understand that happiness lies in simple things: in the whisper of reeds, in the flight of a kingfisher, in the gentle splash of waves at your feet, where every stone breathes the past, and every path leads to discovery.

The Braslav region... It remains in the heart forever. A thin thread that stretches through the years, reminding us: there is a place on earth where the soul finds its home.

We are convinced that the stunning nature of our district, along with its rich history and culture, will captivate you, and you will want to see it in person and visit again and again.

We are always happy to welcome guests!

Open for cooperation!

Sincerely, Braslav District Executive Committee
