Youth for Safety
As part of the republican campaign "Youth for Safety", rescuers from the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations, together with activists of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Firefighters and Rescuers, assist lonely and socially isolated citizens in providing charitable support.
During visits to lonely and socially isolated citizens, rescuers helped with cleaning their homes, removing garbage, tidying up their garden plots, installing autonomous fire alarms, and much more, while reminding homeowners of basic life safety rules. With the onset of cold weather, it is crucial to properly heat the stove and follow simple safety rules: the stove must be equipped with a fireproof sheet, the stove door must close securely, and the chimney must be cleaned of soot. Participants in the campaign also paid attention to the condition of electrical equipment, the presence of autonomous fire alarms, and more. By following such rules, residents can rest assured about their safety.
After the events, rescuers distributed visual aids of an informational and preventive nature to all participants of the campaign, allowing them to reinforce their existing knowledge in the field of life safety, which will help prevent emergencies.
