The exhibition opened in 1997. The museum is located on the shore of Lake Drivyaty in the building of an old mill – a monument of architecture from the early 20th century. The interior is divided into three levels. The complex dedicated to weaving from straw, willow, and other natural materials contains ancient tools discovered during archaeological excavations, as well as products from renowned weaving masters: P. Korenik, I. Kravchenko, I. Dvoretsky, K. Lukyants, M. Cherkas.

The exhibition "Carving of Braslaŭ region" features works by masters P. Zelyavsky, K. Lapkovsky, I. Shpakovich. In the weaving workshop, next to the looms and tools related to the processing of flax and wool, you can see samples of products made by weavers from Braslaŭ region.

A special place is occupied by the pottery workshop. It showcases ceramics typical of northern Belarus, including those by the famous potter N. Kuzmina.

The museum has two exhibition halls where exhibitions of artists' works and products of decorative and applied arts are organized.

At the traditional culture museum, there is a souvenir shop where you can purchase products made by local artisans.
