THE FIND LED TO THE DEFENDANTS' BENCH

The court of Braslaŭ district examined a criminal case against a resident of Braslaŭ district for committing a crime provided for in part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

On one occasion, a woman, while at the train station, found a mobile phone, which she took with her. At the same time, intending to return the lost item to its owner, she contacted the first random subscriber and agreed to leave the phone at the station. However, deciding that such a find would be useful to herself, at the last moment she appropriated the mobile phone and successfully used it until the arrival of the police officers.

During the court session, the resident of Braslaŭ district realized the gravity of her actions and expressed remorse for what she had done.

Thus, taking into account the gravity of the committed act and the personality of the accused, the court, considering the opinion of the state prosecutor, imposed a penalty on the accused in the form of a fine of 70 basic units. The mobile phone was returned to its lawful owner.

The court's verdict has entered into legal force.
