The State Institution Braslav District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology carries out the following types of activities:

SANITARY AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT:
- Conducting work on state sanitary and hygienic examination;
Conducting consultations and organizational-methodological assistance on matters related to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
- Consideration and issuance of conclusions regarding the allocation of land plots for the construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures, as well as for the commissioning of residential, industrial, and public buildings and technological equipment;
- Examination of the conditions of production, transportation, sale, and storage of products, goods, and consumer goods;
- Conducting a hygienic assessment of working conditions at enterprises and the educational process with laboratory and instrumental studies;
Conducting consultations and providing information services regarding applications from economic entities, including on-site visits.
- Conducting consultations on the prevention of infectious and parasitic diseases;
- Providing advisory assistance to the population and individuals living with HIV on the issue of HIV/AIDS prevention;
- Organization and implementation of preventive measures and educational activities among groups with increased vulnerability to HIV infection.

LABORATORY DIVISION:
- Research on food products and food raw materials;
- Determination of nitrates in food raw materials;
- Conducting research on physical factors (lighting, microclimate);
- Conducting radiological studies of water and food products;
- Conducting microbiological research;
- Conducting serological studies;
- Determination of antibiotic sensitivity;
Conducting the identification of cholera vibrios from environmental samples.
