Ensure the stability of the financial system. Turchin introduced the new head to the Ministry of Finance team.
"In this audience, Vladislav Vikentievich does not require special introductions or recommendations. He has worked in the ministry for over 30 years, including 15 years as Deputy Minister. He spent two years in the Council of the Republic and is now returning to the Ministry of Finance. A professional, a specialist of the highest caliber. I believe that continuity of decisions and policies pursued by Yuri Mikhailovich (former head of the Ministry of Finance Yuri Seliverstov - Note by BELTA) will be ensured, and the change of leadership will be seamless," noted Alexander Turchin.
The Prime Minister wished the head of the Ministry of Finance success in the challenging position. "The position of Minister of Finance is special. On one hand, we understand that resources are needed for the economy, and we need to develop; on the other hand, we must safeguard state interests. Financial discipline is the key to the successful development of any country," said Alexander Turchin.
