With the onset of the spring-summer period, the number of citizens in places of mass recreation increases, as well as those traveling to them by motor transport, which leads to an increase in the number of offenses committed in such places. The most common offenses include the consumption of alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages or beer, appearing in places of mass recreation in a state of intoxication, petty hooliganism, swimming, and lighting fires in prohibited areas, as well as violating traffic rules in beach zones.

The police have organized efforts to prevent and suppress such offenses and crimes. From May to September, public order in places of mass recreation will be maintained, taking into account weather conditions on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. In addition, in the city and district, police officers will conduct joint raids in areas prohibited for swimming, with the participation of representatives from the OSVOD organization and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Monitoring the state of public order in these areas is conducted, including through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).

The senior district police inspector of the Braslaŭ District Department of Internal Affairs, Vladislav Koman, explained the responsibilities associated with violations of legislation.

Swimming in a prohibited area (Article 24.42 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) is subject to a fine of up to 3 basic units (1 basic unit – 42 Br). For the consumption of alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages or beer, appearing in a public place in a drunken state, which offends human dignity and morality (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), a fine of up to 15 basic units or administrative arrest may be imposed.

While in places of mass recreation, citizens should remain vigilant and observe basic rules of personal and property safety. Carelessness during recreation often leads to emergencies, as well as offenses and crimes against citizens. The Braslaŭ District Department of Internal Affairs reminds everyone of this.

by district inspectors serving rural areas (buildings of rural executive committees), – from 10:00 to 13:00.
