Dad, mom, we are strong in safety

As part of the first stage of the republican campaign "Do Not Leave Children Alone", employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations held a family sports holiday "Dad, Mom, We Are Strong in Safety" for children and their parents.

The holiday took place at the base of kindergarten No. 1 in the city of Braslav, and the participants of this event were the children of this institution, as well as their parents. A total of three families participated: the Vyzhykouski family, the Skuryat family, and the Dudalev family. The participants were invited to take part in five challenges: the "Quick Rescuer" contest, a contest for moms and dads, a children's contest where children had to find violations of fire safety rules in an apartment, and a family contest – tug of war.

The event was enjoyable and beneficial! A special atmosphere was created by numerous supporters, represented by the kindergarten children who were invited to support their friends.

During the breaks between contests, rescuers conducted informative quizzes for all attendees, during which the children could learn a lot of interesting things about safety.

As a result of the sports holiday, the winner was the Vyzhykouski family (dad Andrei, mom Alexandra, son Stanislav), second place went to the Skuryat family (dad Mikhail, mom Ekaterina, daughter Sofia), and the "bronze" prize went to the Dudalev family (dad Igor, mom Tatyana, and son Maxim).

In addition to invaluable knowledge in the field of child safety, participants received sweet prizes, brochures, coloring books, and diplomas. Our great friends from the "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" also participated in the awards ceremony, represented by the first secretary of the organization Alena Hasyul, who prepared prizes and gifts for the holiday participants!
