Honorary Citizens of Braslav District

	Puchinskaya Nina Antonovna Nina Antonovna Puchinskaya began her professional career in 1980 as an accountant at the state farm "Communist" in the Braslav District of the Vitebsk Region. From 1987 to September 1991, Puchinskaya Nina Antonovna worked in the party organs of the Braslav District. From September 1991 to May 1995, she headed the department of organizational and personnel work of the Braslav District Executive Committee, and from May 1995 to April 2010, she served as the deputy chairperson of the District Executive Committee for social issues. With over 30 years of experience in public service, on May 19, 2010, Nina Antonovna was elected chairperson of the Braslav District Council of Deputies of the 26th convocation, on April 2, 2014 - chairperson of the Braslav District Council of Deputies of the 27th convocation, and on March 1, 2018 - chairperson of the Braslav District Council of Deputies of the 28th convocation. Since 2024, she has been the chairperson of the Braslav District Council of Deputies of the 29th convocation. Nina Antonovna skillfully and professionally, in accordance with current legislation and in the interests of citizens, directs the work of the District Council of Deputies, the presidium of the Council on all issues of socio-economic development of the district, ensuring close cooperation with the District Executive Committee. She skillfully and persistently directs the activities of rural Councils of Deputies towards the qualitative implementation of social standards in rural councils, comprehensive and timely resolution of issues related to the livelihoods of the population. Nina Antonovna pays great attention to issues of law and order and fire safety, social support for lonely and elderly citizens, and the implementation of youth policy in the subordinate territory. She takes effective measures to reduce the number of vacant and dilapidated houses in the district. The formation of budgets for primary-level councils, the improvement of rural settlements in the district, and the maintenance of order on the land are under special control. The development of personal subsidiary farms of citizens is under the constant supervision of Puchinskaya Nina Antonovna. In cooperation with rural Councils of Deputies, district services, and heads of agricultural enterprises, comprehensive assistance is provided to the population for their development. Nina Antonovna actively participates in cultural and public life, as well as in the preparation and conduct of the most important socio-political events. Puchinskaya N.A. is also the chairperson of the Coordination Council of public associations and political parties of the Braslav District, and heads the commission for promoting employment of the population of the Braslav District. Puchinskaya N.A. has received awards of various levels, including multiple awards of the Honorary Certificate of the Braslav District Executive Committee, the Honorary Certificate of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, the Honorary Certificate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Honorary Certificate of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the badge of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus "For Contribution to the Development of Belarusian Culture", and she has also received gratitude from the head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of her work in 2013, Nina Antonovna was awarded the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region". On May 19, 2023, for exemplary performance of official duties and significant achievements in public service, Nina Antonovna was awarded the medal "For Impeccable Service" of the III degree.
	Shukel Romuald Ivanovich Romuald Ivanovich began his professional career in 1969 in the Braslav District. He worked as a driver in the Braslav foreman section, the district consumer cooperative, and then as the chief mechanic of the collective farm named after Zaslonov. Since 1989, he has been working as the chairman of the agricultural production cooperative "Mayak Braslavsky". In 2018, Shukel R.I. was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus", and in 2013, for his significant personal contribution to the development of agricultural production and achieving high production indicators, he was awarded the medal "For Labor Merits". In 2009, he was awarded the honorary title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region". He has been repeatedly awarded Honorary Certificates from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Braslav District Council of Deputies.
	Klimovich Alvina Dmitrievna From 1963 to 2004, she worked as a teacher and director of the Braslav Music School. Alvina Dmitrievna was the head of the People's Choir of the Opsa Rural Club for many years, the creator and head of the Veterans' People's Choir. For 15 years, she conducted the combined thousand-member district choir. She was awarded the badge "Excellence in Cultural Sponsorship in the Village", the Order of "Badge of Honor", and the medal of the laureate of the All-Union Review of Amateur Creativity. In 1986, she was awarded the title "Honored Worker of Culture"
	Bulski Pavel Konstantinovich – 1925 - 2022. During the Great Patriotic War, he was in the partisan brigade named after Rokossovsky. From 1973 to 1988, he headed the state bank of Braslav. He was awarded the Order of "Patriotic War", and the medals "For Courage", "For Labor Valor". Lysy Boris Stepanovich – 1933 - 2019. From 1955 to 1959, as the first secretary of the Braslav District Party Committee, he carried out significant work on the socio-economic development of the district. For conscientious work and significant personal contribution, he was awarded two Orders of the "Red Banner of Labor", the medal "For Labor Valor", and certificates from the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR. Shershen Peter Petrovich – General Director of the State Enterprise "Vitebskoblgaz". From 1985 to 1990, he was the first secretary of the Braslav District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus. This period was the most significant in the development of the Braslav District. The main industrial and many social facilities were built: a dairy plant, a bread factory, a prosecutor's office, Secondary School No. 2 of Braslav, and a hospital.
	Utenkov Fedor Nikandrovich – 1910 - 1999. Commander of the 423rd Regiment of the 166th Rifle Division. The title of Honorary Citizen of the Braslav District was awarded by the decision of the Braslav City Council of People's Deputies on December 22, 1982, No. 14-3 for personal courage and bravery shown during the liberation of Braslav from the German-fascist invaders in June 1944.
	Kozhar Zinaida Evgenievna – 1930 - 2019. Honored Teacher of the BSSR. She raised more than one generation of current leaders of enterprises and organizations in the Braslav District.
	Kozhar Ivan Ivanovich – pensioner. Honored Teacher of the BSSR. Awarded the Order of "Patriotic War 2nd Class", 7 medals, including "For Military Merit".
	Karlo Gennady Ustinovich – 1942 - 2018. Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Belarus. Awarded the Order of "Badge of Honor 2nd Class", the medal "For Labor Valor".
