Procedure for Admission and Service in the Internal Affairs Bodies

Citizens of legal age are accepted for service in the internal affairs bodies on a voluntary basis, capable by their personal, moral, and professional qualities, health status, and level of basic education to perform the tasks assigned to the internal affairs bodies.
Citizens are accepted for the positions of rank-and-file, junior, middle, and senior management, as a rule, not older than 28 years. Citizens older than 28 years may be accepted for the specified positions if, at the time of reaching the maximum age while in service, they will have the right to a pension for length of service.

Stages of processing candidates who are being accepted for service in the internal affairs bodies for the first time.
The personnel officer, when approached by a citizen, clarifies the following questions according to the requirements for processing for service in the internal affairs bodies:
Age; Citizenship; Availability of education, specialty by education; degree of fitness based on the results of the commission at the district military commissariat; whether they have previously served in the internal affairs bodies, and the presence of a criminal record for them and their close relatives.
The candidate is provided with forms to fill out: a questionnaire, a biography, a list of necessary documents to be submitted to the recruiting authority; a list of necessary documents for passing the military medical commission, a referral for passing the military medical commission; an individual record of physical fitness for taking exams.

After the candidate fills out the questionnaire, biography, and submits them to the recruiting authority, the following is conducted:
Verification of the accuracy of the completed questionnaire and biography;
Preparation of requests for conducting a special check.
After a thorough review of the submitted documents, the results of the special check, and a positive outcome of the military medical commission, the candidate is directed for an internship in the proposed position.
In case of successful completion of the preliminary internship, the issue of admission to service in the internal affairs bodies is considered at the certification commissions of the recruiting authority, which recommend the candidate for admission to service in the internal affairs bodies and direct them for initial training.
