Agricultural workers are hard to find without work. And it may seem that with the arrival of winter, one can take a breath, but technological processes do not stop in workshops, on farms, or at administrative facilities.

Despite their daily workload, employees of JSC "Mezhany" and the training workshops of Vidzovsky Vocational Training Center managed to take time for a meeting with a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to discuss safety issues. Unfortunately, there are many fires. With the onset of cold weather, the risks have also increased. Faulty heating, gas, and electrical equipment, an unextinguished cigarette – these are the ticking time bombs. Rescuers urged workers to adhere to safety rules at work and at home, to smoke only in designated areas, and reminded them of the emergency service phone numbers and the order of priority actions in case of fire, as well as the procedure for using primary fire extinguishing means. They also emphasized the importance of equipping equipment with fire extinguishers, keeping it clean, and timely cleaning from flammable deposits. They talked about the mobile application of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, its sections, and its benefits for adults and children. A key theme was the safety of children, the inadmissibility of leaving them unattended, and their adherence to safety rules at winter water bodies. Special attention was paid to equipping residential premises with autonomous fire alarms, as this is currently the only device capable of alerting about the onset of a fire and thus saving human lives. There are plenty of examples to illustrate this.
