As one grows older, the number of potential dangers increases proportionally. Any activity carries a hidden threat. But is everything really that scary, and can one avoid going outside altogether? 

Yes, it is scary if one does not know and follow safety rules. Winter, especially when it is frosty and snowy, evokes only positive emotions. Skiing or skating, sliding down a hill on a sled, enjoying a steam bath, and running out into the snow - these are just a small part of winter fun. However, everything must be done wisely. Today, a discussion took place between representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and students of Akhremov School. Rescuers reminded about the dangers of winter water bodies, the immediate actions to take if one falls through the ice, and reiterated the emergency service phone numbers and the procedure for calling them. They also addressed the dangers of pyrotechnic products, the rules for their purchase, storage, and use. They elaborated on the importance of following safety rules while tubing. 

All the discussed topics of safe behavior were supported by watching thematic films, as well as reinforced by real examples from the operational reports of rescuers.
