Braslav. Information for the residents of the district regarding fire safety

As part of the republican preventive campaign "For Safety Together", employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations, together with other preventive entities, are conducting extensive preventive work to prevent fires and the death of people from external factors, visiting households of citizens as part of inspection commissions, and also organizing training events for workers providing social and medical assistance to the population.

Everything is in the sight of the inspection commission – from the condition of heating appliances and the presence of an autonomous fire alarm in the house to the condition of the yard. While checking the households of citizens, rescuers strongly recommend paying attention to stoves and chimneys during the spring period, citing cases of neglecting these rules. The prevention of burning dry vegetation is particularly important for rescuers. Employees of the department strongly recommend that citizens refrain from burning dry grass at the root, reminding that this can harm not only themselves and their neighbors but also the environment.

What is an autonomous fire alarm, how to protect your home from fire, and what dangers may threaten children and how to avoid them – these questions were answered by employees of the district emergency department while inspecting households where large families live.

– The golden rule for all parents is not to leave children alone! Discuss safety issues with them, improve your own knowledge in these matters, and be an example for your children, – this is the advice rescuers gave to parents, drawing attention to the problem of accidents involving children.

Additionally, employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations organized meetings with labor collectives of organizations in the district, where they provided relevant information in the field of life safety.
