Monitoring of fire safety status

The Inspection and Prevention Sector of the Braslaŭ Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted monitoring of fire safety conditions at the state educational institution "Kindergarten No. 3 of Braslaŭ" and the store "Euroopt" No. 421 of the limited liability company "Euratorg in Vitebsk" in October 2024.

During the monitoring, violations of the "General Fire Safety Requirements for the Maintenance and Operation of Capital Structures (Buildings, Constructions), Isolated Premises, and Other Facilities Owned by Economic Entities" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 dated 23.11.2017 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship" (hereinafter – GFSR) and other regulatory legal acts were identified.
Following the monitoring, recommendations were provided to the management for addressing the identified violations, which proposed the following measures for implementation:

State Educational Institution "Kindergarten No. 3 of Braslaŭ"

- the doors located on evacuation routes (doors leading to external evacuation stairs) of the kindergarten building do not allow free opening from the inside without a key – eliminated during monitoring;

- there is no constant readiness to use fire protection means (the locations for installing fire extinguishers and manual fire alarms are not marked) – eliminated during monitoring;

- the facility lacks 10% of the required technical fire protection means (fire alarms) from the number installed;

- external fire and evacuation stairs of the kindergarten building have not been tested.

Store "Euroopt" No. 421 of the limited liability company "Euratorg in Vitebsk"

- in the store "Red Price" (tenant's premises), as well as in the corridor of the warehouse part, there is no protection against mechanical damage for the light indicator "EXIT" installed at a height of less than 2.2 meters;

- there is no readiness to use fire protection and firefighting means (the fire automation equipment (RPI in the store "Red Price") is not equipped with fire safety signs, and fire extinguishers are not fully marked with fire safety signs at their locations) (eliminated during monitoring);

- the operability and functionality of fire protection and firefighting means are not ensured (in the security point, smoke detectors are not operational (eliminated during monitoring), the light evacuation direction indicator in the sales area of the store is inoperable, in the warehouses of returnable packaging, as well as in the cardboard warehouse, smoke detectors are inoperable (constantly in FIRE mode), in the receiving area, smoke detectors are not operational).
