An elderly woman died in a fire in Braslav.

On November 7 at 04:04, Braslav rescuers received a report that a private residential house was on fire on Nekrasova Street in the district center. Fire crews were immediately dispatched to the specified address.

Upon arrival, rescuers found that the brick structure was completely engulfed in flames, and the roof had partially collapsed. During the reconnaissance in one of the rooms, under the collapsed ceiling element, the Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel discovered the deceased homeowner born in 1954.

The rescuers extinguished the fire. The roof, ceiling, and walls were damaged, and property was destroyed by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
