According to the order of the chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee

 According to the order of the Chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee No. 179p dated November 5, 2025, which is in effect based on paragraph 35 of the Rules for the Protection of Human Life on Water Bodies of the Republic of Belarus, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated August 18, 2023, No. 543, citizens are prohibited from accessing the ice cover of surface water bodies during the period of ice destruction within the district.

Please remember: in spring, ice transforms, concealing deadly dangers within. Bound by the night’s cold, it may still deceptively appear strong and capable of withstanding a small load. However, during the day, as the sun slightly warms it, the ice quickly becomes saturated with meltwater, turning porous and very weak, despite its apparent thickness. Do not risk testing its strength on yourself. Do not go onto the ice!
