With the onset of the spring-summer period, the number of citizens in places of mass recreation increases, as well as those traveling to these locations by motor vehicles, which leads to an increase in the number of offenses committed in such areas. The most common offenses include the consumption of alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages or beer, appearing in places of mass recreation while intoxicated, petty hooliganism, swimming and lighting fires in prohibited areas, and violating traffic rules

Answers from the district police inspector  The police have organized efforts to prevent and suppress such offenses and crimes. From May to September, public order in places of mass recreation will be ensured taking into account weather conditions on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. In addition, police officers will conduct joint raid activities in areas prohibited for swimming, with the participation of representatives from the OSVOD organization and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Monitoring the state of public order in these areas is carried out, including using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). 

The district police inspector of the Braslav District Department of Internal Affairs, Valentin Bahorod, explained the responsibilities associated with violating the legislation.

For swimming in a prohibited area (Article 24.42 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), a fine of up to 3 basic units is provided. For the consumption of alcoholic, low-alcohol beverages or beer, appearing in a public place in a drunken state that offends human dignity and morality (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), a fine of up to 15 basic units or administrative arrest is provided.

While in places of mass recreation, citizens should be vigilant and observe basic rules of personal and property safety. Carelessness during recreation often leads to emergencies and the commission of offenses and crimes against citizens.
