More than 1000 liters of entrusted fuel were allocated during the sowing campaign.

The Prosecutor's Office of Braslaŭ District supported the state prosecution in court in a criminal case against five local residents, who are accused of misappropriation of property entrusted to them, committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement.

According to the case materials, a resident of Braslaŭ District in April 2024, having met with the tractor drivers of one of the agricultural organizations in the district, offered to buy the diesel fuel entrusted to him for work at half its cost. The workers of the farm agreed to this proposal and, together with this individual, stole 1060 liters of fuel worth more than 2,400 rubles.

During the preliminary investigation, the stolen fuel was seized and returned to the farm, and an arrest was placed on the property of the accused in the total amount of 5,600 rubles.

At the court hearing, the accused fully admitted their guilt and expressed remorse for their actions.

According to the protocols of operational-search activities, investigative actions, testimonies of the accused, and other written materials of the criminal case examined during the court investigation, the guilt of J., P., V., M., P. in committing the crime provided for by part 2 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code is fully proven.

The criminal case was considered in a field court session in the presence of employees of agricultural organizations in the district.

Taking into account the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, the court of Braslaŭ District issued a guilty verdict and, based on part 2 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, sentenced the accused to imprisonment for a term of two years with conditional non-application of the sentence for a probation period of two years, and also imposed an obligation on the accused to pay a criminal law compensation to the state, with the accused J. being required to pay 100 basic units amounting to 4,000 rubles, and the accused P., V., M., P. being required to pay 50 basic units amounting to 2,000 rubles.

The court's verdict has not entered into legal force and may be appealed and contested in the appellate procedure.
