The prosecutor's office identified violations at the animal burial sites of agricultural enterprises in the district.
In March of this year, the Prosecutor's Office of the Braslaŭ District conducted an inspection of compliance with veterinary and sanitary legislation by agricultural organizations in the region regarding the maintenance of animal burial sites.
During the inspection activities, a number of legislative violations were identified.
The results of the inspection conducted by the district prosecutor's office regarding compliance with veterinary and sanitary rules for the burial and destruction of animal carcasses and animal products.
For example, the fencing of the animal burial site and the entrance gates of OJSC "Agrovidzi" required repairs, and the biothermal pit (Beccari pit) was in a dilapidated state. The entrance gates to the animal burial site of OJSC "Braslaŭ District Agroservice" were not locked. Furthermore, on the inner side of the fence, the corresponding trench at the aforementioned animal burial sites was not dug, and the territory of the burial sites was overgrown with dry weeds.
During the inspection of the animal burial site of KUSP "Vidzovski", the inspected object did not fully comply with the established legislative requirements: it lacked appropriate fencing, the lid of the biothermal pit (Beccari pit) was not locked, and there was no corresponding sign. Additionally, the territory of the animal burial site was overgrown with weeds, making it impossible to visually determine its location.
There were no access roads to any of the animal burial sites, which also constitutes a violation of veterinary and sanitary rules.
As a result of the inspection, the district prosecutor's office took responsive measures - a corresponding representation was submitted to the head of the department of agriculture and food. Following the review of this representation, four officials were held accountable for disciplinary violations.
