Proactive Work
One of the key areas of this activity is the inspection of citizens' homes. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations inspect residential premises for compliance with fire safety requirements, assess the condition and operating conditions of electrical appliances, and check the presence and functionality of autonomous fire alarms.
Particular attention is paid to the inspection of heating stoves, as improper operation or a "dilapidated" state of the stove equipment often becomes the cause of fire outbreaks.
In addition to technical measures, employees of the district department for emergency situations actively conduct discussions and briefings, emphasizing the categorical prohibition of smoking in residential premises.
– Smoking is one of the most common causes of fire outbreaks, so warning citizens about the dangers of this habitual yet risky behavior is an important part of our preventive work, – comments the head of the district department for emergency situations, Sergey Krivko.
Preventive raids by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees are aimed at reducing the number of fires and their tragic consequences. Rescuers urge citizens to take responsibility for their own safety and pay attention to the advice of rescuers.
