Fire Prevention Raid in Ecosystems

In the Republic of Belarus, an emergency fire situation persists. High air temperatures and lack of rainfall have complicated the situation. The number of fires is increasing not only in ecosystems but also fires with a significant number of buildings within populated areas are being recorded. For instance, in the village of Zhitonyezhye in the Bud-Koshelevo district, 9 structures were destroyed by fire, including a residential house, a summer house, 4 outbuildings, and 3 non-residential buildings.

To prevent such incidents in the Braslav district, as well as for fire prevention in ecosystems, employees of the Braslav District Department for Emergency Situations, together with employees of the State Production Unit "Braslav Lakes", are conducting raids in forest areas.

As part of the raid activities, citizens are informed about the basic rules of behavior in the forest, the algorithm of actions upon discovering a fire, and visual materials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are distributed.
