Starting from November 4, the Ministry of Emergency Situations campaign "Don't Burn Your Life!" will begin.
Careless handling of fire while smoking has remained a persistent "leader" among the causes of fires that lead to loss of life for many years.
In order to prevent fires and loss of life due to careless handling of fire while smoking, a national informational and awareness campaign "Don't Burn Your Life!" will take place from November 4 to November 27.
The events of the campaign will be held in dormitories, higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, and rescuers will also visit bus stations and retail facilities.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will organize interactive classes, master classes on the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment, first aid, remind about the consequences of harmful habits, and demonstrate the operation of autonomous fire alarms, as well as videos titled "Victims of Harmful Habits".
In addition, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will use quizzes, contests, photo exhibitions, intellectual QUIZ games, open dialogues, thematic platforms, and much more to inform about the dangers of smoking, providing examples of fires and loss of life due to careless handling of fire while smoking.
During the campaign, intensive fire prevention work will be carried out in the residential sector. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will visit households and apartments of citizens, reminding them of the necessity to comply with fire safety rules.
Join the events of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to win the fight against harmful habits, "don't burn your life" and make it safe!
